Our subsidiary BAUER Foundations Canada represents BAUER Spezialtiefbau GmbH in Canada and is looking for a Heavy Duty Equipment Technician (m/f/x) for its location in Hamilton, ON, Canada, and project sites throughout the province to maintain and repair our fleet of specialized foundation equipment supporting projects across Ontario.

Your tasks:
- Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs on heavy foundation equipment
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults using advanced troubleshooting methods
- Support field crews with on-site repairs and technical guidance
- Maintain accurate service records and parts tracking
- Collaborate with operations and project teams to minimize downtime
Your profile:
- Valid "Journeyperson Heavy Duty Equipment Technician Red Seal" certification
- Minimum 5 years of experience maintaining and repairing heavy construction or foundation equipment (BAUER preferred)
- Strong knowledge of hydraulics, diesel engines, electrical systems, and onboard diagnostics
- Ability to work independently in remote and demanding site conditions
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal)
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel across Ontario as required
